The River Bend Stream Restoration Team will be hosting a Community Tree-Planting event on Saturday, April 26th from 9 AM – 2 PM.
Join the fun and help plant about 500 tublings and some larger trees!
In addition to that fun task, there will also be activities such as:
- The Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy Stream Monitoring team will host demonstrations about all the great critters in the stream (there will be some nets and the ability to go in the stream and look for creatures).
- Stream clean up
- Invasive species removal around the perimeter of the site
- Some guided and self-guided tours of the project
- Giveaways!
For more information, check out the Loudoun County Government Facebook page.
*Please note this is not an official CountrySide event – this event is hosted by Loudoun County. Learn more about the Stream Restoration Project here.
