Fall Shred + Paint Recycle – Saturday, September 14

The Fall Shred & Paint Recycle event is this Saturday, September 14! Join us from 9AM – 12PM at Parkway Parking Lot (46020 Algonkian Parkway, Sterling, VA 20165).

There is a five (5) box maximum per vehicle for paper shredding.

Paper clips and staples do not need to be removed, but please take a moment to make sure all binder clips are removed. Any plastic materials, binders, or x-rays cannot be shredded. Box removal is not included, so please plan on taking emptied boxes home.

Paint recycling is $5/can (quart, 1-gallon, 5-gallon bucket).

Cash, check, and credit card are accepted. Latex and oil paint and wood stains are accepted. Paint and cans can be in any condition. Paint must be in original containers.

River Bend Stream Restoration Project – Field Tours This Saturday!

On Saturday, September 14 from 12 PM – 2 PM, representatives from the River Bend Stream Restoration Project will be in the River Bend Middle School parking lot to give field tours and answer questions about the Stream Restoration Project.

CountrySide residents are invited to attend. You are welcome to park in the middle school parking lot and are encouraged to wear boots or tennis shoes.
