Doggie Swim Day – Saturday, September 7!

Doggie Swim Day is this Saturday, September 7, from 1 – 4 PM at Parkway Pool (46020 Algonkian Parkway, Sterling, VA 20165).

Please join us for a celebration of the end of the pool season for CountrySide dogs and their owners. This event is open to all non-aggressive canine pets of CountrySide residents. Residents must have a valid Moko Pass and should bring a doggie dish for water and waste disposal bags. All dogs should wear current vaccination tags or proof of vaccinations must be shown.

Hidden Lane Landfill – September 2024 Update

Please see the update below from the Hidden Lane Landfill Site team:

“EPA has completed excavating all contaminated soil in the excavation area and all material has been shipped off-site for disposal at an appropriate landfill. EPA will begin backfilling the week of September 2. Backfilling operations will involve bringing in clean fill material to the site so there will still be increased truck traffic on Persimmon Lane over the next several weeks. EPA will be working on Saturdays throughout the month of September to accelerate project completion.
